Rihanna Live in London for "Rated R" lauch

Rihanna is teaming up with Nokia to bring her fans something special. Rihanna will be launching her new album live online to a global audience, in partnership with Nokia. Rated R will be released on November 23rd but you will get the chance to hear tracks from the album on Monday 16th November when Rihanna will perform live in London.

Janet Jackson Gears Up Promo!

Janet Jackson Fans have alot to be happy about these days! For starters, Promo for Jackson's second greatest hits offering, Number Ones, a two-disc 33 song set that includes various #1 hits from her 23 years at the top of the charts. Janet will be performing at the American Music Awards later this month and she will also be performing in the U.K at Capital FM's Jingle Ball in December. In Two weeks, ABC will debut her first TV interview since the death of her brother. Janet Jackson will sit down and open up with ABC’s Robin Roberts on a special set to air on November 18. Finally, The video for the new single "Make Me" has been filmed and will be released shortly as well. If Janet's VMA performance was any indication, we can't wait to see her tear up the stage in these new performances!

My thoughts on this situation are the following. I don't think Rihanna has any reason to lie because the media has already painted her as the victim and taken her side. I think she told her story honestly and candidly. I also have a gripe with the fact that people are stating that she is doing this for promotion while ignoring that Chris was giving interviews left right and center over the past few months on this situation ( Larry King, Angie Martinez, Sway on MTV), doing the same thing trying to repair his image in the months leading up to his upcoming release. It should be noted she didn't mention the new album at all during the new interview, nor did they play any of her new songs. I believe Rihanna did this interview so that she doesn't have to talk about it on the rest of her promo stops. What are You thoughts on the Situation?

Chris Brown released a Statement in response to Rihanna's interview stating

“While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us. I do appreciate her support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions. At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God.”

Rihanna on GMA/20/20 sneak peak

The first part of Rihanna's 20/20 interview hit the news this morning on Good Morning America. Rihanna spoke about going back to Brown and why she realized she had to leave. Rihanna said she was “embarrassed and ashamed” that’s why she didn’t speak out until now. The candid interview will continue tomorrow with Diane Sawyer on 20/20. The most poignant moments is when Rihanna starts tearing up and says "When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. I couldn’t be held responsible for (them)going back."

So This video of a Fan interviewing Alicia Keys was super cute and special to me because SoSo is my friend from the High School days. Sophia loves herself some Alicia Keys! She knows all the songs, watched all the movies and she was even Alicia for celebrity day! One day, a couple of my friends and I were practicing for a show at school and on a break I just started playing "No One" on my acoustic guitar and Sophia popped up out of nowhere and was singing on the staircase. My friends are crazy! Nonetheless, "SoSoKeys" did a great job! Check it out!

Juniors Cheesecake +Mice = Bad Situation

Fellow New Yorkers, was anyone else on the #LateBallRoom Train with this Juniors Restaurant Mouse story? Thoroughly disgusted by the presence of vermin at the ultimate cheesecake spot in the hood. The Daily News says the "images of the tiny vermin peering from between two cheesecakes and another of a mouse lounging between two trays were posted to the Web site Brooklynian.com Saturday afternoon by someone using the pseudonym "Rachel Rae."

Let's face It, I'm sure some of our favorite restaurants has had a fury friend or two in the back but having a mouse in the display case? That's too messy for my liking, especially near chocolaty foods that can easily mask the appearance of droppings. Oh No! I'll be making my own cheesecake from now on! Juniors wants you to know the following,

Junior's officials on Tuesday said they were taking the alleged photos seriously and had immediately called in exterminators, building engineers and pest experts to ensure the store wouldn't have any more unwanted customers.

"As soon as this isolated incident was brought to our attention on Sunday, we took immediate action to determine the cause," said owner Alan Rosen in a statement. "It was addressed professionally, and I can assure you the problem is being fully remediated."

Can a Brooklynite get a good baked good? First Cake Man Raven's quality went down hill a bit and I was far from pleased with the dry ass Red Velvet Cake that I had a couple months ago, and now Juniors having vermin issues? This is just a sign that we don't need to be eating these foods anyway....
